Social Disaster Techniques (SDT) are generally used when premature convergence occurs and by creating random offspring the problem of premature convergence may be avoided by inserting diversity in the population. This paper attempts to use the both concepts of Elitism and Social Disaster techniques spanning across various generations. A previous solution is chosen and it has been looked upon how Elitism and Social Disaster techniques fares towards the same problem. The problem that has been taken into consideration is that of Yield Management.
